Take Action Today

Taking action is now or never to be able to deal with Climate change. Protection of our ecosystem needs a different approach because the extreme weather events and alteration in our biodiversity makes us feel the effects of climate change. One essential way of taking a different approach in this is by supporting the communities’ efforts on environmental conservation. For instance, we as Green Ecosystem Initiative (GEI) will work to mobilize and implement activities that promotes local conservation efforts as a way of protecting the environment.

Another way that our organization (GEI) will work to protect the environment is through advocating for policies that supports climate action. Through these climate-friendly policies, we can write letters of environmental conservation to our local political leaders, and promote the use of renewable energy.

Another important strategy we can use is adopting sustainable life choices that promote ecosystem conservation. Approaches like choosing transportation methods like cycling and walking, recycling, proper waste management will surely help us protect our environment and sustain it.

Lastly, the society need to have information and knowledge about ecosystem protection. Staying informed through media channels and reading, then sharing this knowledge with others, will help us create awareness about climate change and have more people practising environmental conservation.

Generally, we cannot achieve environmental protection as a single organization. It requires a unified efforts and individual dedication. Supporting communities, sharing of knowledge, advocacy and choosing sustainable lifestyle about environmental conservation can aid in conserving our natural environment and preserving our biodiversity. Let us all work together in achieving a more sustainable and resilient planet the coming generations.
